27 foreign trips in ten months. 21 countries. An estimated 748 flights, there and back. First class, five-star suites, motorcades and a security detail you pay for, on trips the government will not tell you the cost of. So we counted, from their own records. Here is the bill.
That 748 counts the security, protocol, press and medical teams who fly on every mission. Even counting only the officials named in the government's own statements, it is 181 flights. And nothing here includes what they still refuse to make public.
The government does not publish what a single one of these trips cost. So we estimate, at the rate a head of state actually travels, and we show every step. The President does not fly economy, so airfares are business and first class, with a charter-tier rate for the President himself. Nobody stays in a budget room, so we count five-star hotels and suites with the government's overseas allowance, the DSA, on top. And a state visit is never just the ministers you read about. It carries a security detail, protocol officers, press, medical staff, aides and an advance team, dozens of people who fly and stay too. We add them, then motorcades and ground costs. We take the high estimate, not the low one, because that is closer to the truth than the silence they offer.
Across all 27 trips that comes to an estimated SCR 122.67M: SCR 38.37M in airfares, SCR 59.85M in hotels and allowances, and SCR 24.46M on the ground, moving an estimated 317 people. Even stripped to the bone, only the travellers they named, in a normal hotel, nothing else, the floor is still SCR 23.80M. Every figure is an estimate, labelled as one. If they think it is too high, they can publish the real one.

The busiest traveller in the cabinet, by a distance. This file counts only the trips he led himself, among them a ten-day, four-country tour of Central Asia and a first-ever visit to the Maldives. He also flew in the President's or Vice-President's delegation on at least four more, from the UAE to Russia to India to Ethiopia. Salary excludes the allowances, car and staff carried on top.

This part is not an estimate. It is published, in the government's own Budget. Before a single flight, this is what the political class is paid, salary plus a 25 percent gratuity, straight from the 2026 Emoluments schedule.
And that is only the salary. It does not count the housing, transport, clothing and entertainment allowances, the official cars, the staff or the offices, all carried on top. Each minister is paid SCR 886,545 a year. The Vice-President, SCR 1.18M. The Office of the President's wage bill alone is SCR 33.14M.
